Peach Margaritas

We are interrupting our classic cocktails for a frozen summer concoction! These Peach Margaritas are inspired by my cousin, June Cooper. She told me about these at our last family reunion.  She said that when she conducts bus tours to Tequila, Mexico, she serves Peach Margaritas to her guests.  So I came up with this recipe and it is so delicious.

1 can of Sprite
1 can of Jumex Peach Nectar
3/4 cup of Tequila
1/4 cup of Everclear
6 cups of Frozen Peaches

Mix together all liquid in a measuring cup and then pour 1/2 in a blender.  Add 3 cups of frozen peaches.  Blend until smooth.  Pour into margarita glasses rimmed with the following:

1/4 cup of Salt
1/4 cup of Chili Powder
1/2 cup of Sugar
Lime Slices

Mix dry ingredients together.  Rim glasses with lime slices and then coat with Chili Powder mixture.

You can make additional margaritas with the half of the liquid that remains or freeze it for another day!

Enjoy!
