Sauerkraut with Caraway Seeds

Sauerkraut with Caraway Seeds
If you follow my blog, you probably realize that I love sauerkraut.  This is a German style recipe.  It is wonderful!


1 14.5 can of Sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
1 medium onion, chopped
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon of Sugar
1 teaspoon of Caraway Seeds
1/2 cup of water

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
In an oven proof skillet, heat olive oil and add onion.  Cook until just before onions start to brown.  Add the rest of the ingredients.  Cook for 5 minutes and transfer to oven and bake until all of the moisture is absorbed, about 25 minutes. 

Yummy!
