Smoked Sausage with Onions and Green Bell Peppers

This is so easy and I have never met anyone who does not love it. It has 3 ingredients takes just a few minutes to prepare and not many more to cook. Plus, it is a wonderful dish for autumn.

1 pound of Smoked Sausage, sliced
1 Onion, sliced
1 Green Bell Pepper, sliced

Lightly spray a large skillet with vegetable spray. Turn heat to medium and add sausage.  Brown sausage and remove. Leave the drippings in the pan and reduce heat to low-medium.  Add onions and green bell pepper.  Cook until caramelized.  Add sausage back into skillet and reheat.  This allows the flavors of the vegetables to combine with the sausage.

Enjoy!

  1. This was a mainstay for my young family as my children were growing up. We always served it with rice. Ummmmm..think I'll make it tonight for my grand children.
