Patricia Darlene's Cajun Shrimp

My cousin, Patricia Darlene, brought this to our family reunion.  The shrimp were from the Gulf Coast and Patricia did a great job on this dish.  This was so delicious. She graciously shared her recipe with us.


Cajun Shrimp
4 pounds peeled pre-cooked shrimp
1/4 cup of Hot Sauce, or to taste
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 cup olive oil
1 ½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoon seafood seasoning
1 ½ teaspoon dried oregano
1 ½ teaspoon dried thyme
1 ½ teaspoon dried parsley
Combine ingredients, stir well and pour over shrimp.   Place in a large heavy-duty zip top plastic bag and seal.  Place in the refrigerator 8 hours or more.  Drain before serving.  Yields approximately 25 appetizer servings.
